Labrador Training

Labrador Retrievers, believe it or not are the most popular owned dog in the United States today. So, obviously there is a demand for Labrador training. There are many aspects to a well rounded training program for your Labrador. First, and foremost, but mostly in Labrador puppy cases is potty training. We can not have them leaving us random presents through out the house. Second is behavioral and disobedient problems, which include: barking, biting, chewing, jumping on people, growling, lack of respect towards owners, and so on. Third, not important as the first two, but beneficial, entertaining, and very popular, is dog tricks.

Labrador Training- Potty Training Tips

First off, you want to give your puppy plenty of food, sleep, and attention.
Its especially important to pay close attention to your puppy, as it will provide you with certain signs that will help you learn when it is time for him/her to do there business. The easiest way to tell if your puppy has to go is when it sniffs around the house. Its almost guaranteed they have to go when they do this. Some other times, a little less obvious, are when puppy wakes up from nap, and after they eat. When your puppy has to go, its crucial you go with him/her. By doing this, it becomes a routine for the puppy, and you will know if it went. Giving the dog a treat after using the potty is encouraged as he/she incorporates with going potty.
